Manto Single Weave

The Manto single weave is a pretty basic gi overall.  The patches are big and bold, but not too flashy.  Definitely a nice alternative for those that dislike the flashiest gis, but also don't want a super plain gi.  The Manto single weave is a slimmer cut built for competition.  The cut is slimmer ala a Kikskin an d the collar is very thin.  It's a very light gi, the strength of the weave makes it appear very durable, and the stitching is really nice.

These gis are fairly light (but not as light weight as a pearl weave or ultra light gi) gi from European-based Manto.

Some people have reported that the tops are really big and won't shrink at all.  Others report that the gi may not even be pre-shrunk so it shows some inconsistency in the batching of the Manto single weave.  Since they came out in August of 2009, they may be a bit dated consider all of the gis that have come out lately.
