Bull Terrier is a Japanese company that has sponsored a who's who of BJJ players including: Rodolfo Vieira, Claudio Calasans, Rafael Mendes, Guilherme Mendes, Rubens Cobrinha Charles, Roberto Satoshi Souza, and Bruno Frazatto.
Bull Terrier are known for having a TON of different styles of gis and also for being one of the flashiest gi brands on the market (which suits me just FINE!!!). A Bull Terrier gi can easily be identified by its incredibly flashy patches, but others are very very simple in design and content.
A Bull Terrier Gi isn't cheap, but is generally regarded as being worth the price. Bull Terrier was one of the first companies to use contrast stitching, large patches, interior gi lining, limited editions, etc. ALL ON THE SAME GI!Purchase your very own Bull Terrier Ultimate Light Gi at AmazonContinue reading
The Atama Mundial 9 is Atama's most recent offering since the Mundial #7 (successor to the Mundial #5). The most noticeable change from the mundial 7 to the Atama Mundial 9 is the change in looks.
The Mundial 9 is the exact same material as the Mundial 7 and the same cut. The most noticeable difference is the change in embroidery.
Just like the Mundial 7, the 9 has no seam in the back, and the jacket is made from one piece of material.Want to get your hands on the Atama Mundial 9? Get it from Amazon!
Let's be honest.
If you're like me, your wife and kids love you, but they have no idea what to get you related to BJJ. You'll end up with some wrong-size spats or something.
Which is totally fine.
No, it is.
I weigh 230lbs. and wanted the new Scramble spats in a size small.

The Zero G range was originally a lightweight alternative to Tatami Fightwear’s popular Estilo gis. It was marketed as more of a lightweight competition BJJ gi than the Estilo, but with the advent of the Sub Zero gi (350gsm, 8oz pants) from Tatami, the Zero G (475gsm jacket, 10oz pants) now seems a bit closer to the Estilo (550gsm jacket, 12oz pants).Have you ever considered getting the Tatami Zero G V3 gi? I was first introduced to this gi on Instagram when I started following Justin Dee (Juggs) from Full Metal JiuJitsu. I saw a few photos of it and I was really impressed at how cool it was for just their regular academy gi.Find your favorite Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi at Hypnotik
Gear bags are more of a luxury than a necessity, but they are something I love having, and once you've had a good one, you just can't go without. Knowing I have my tape, nail clippers, deodorant, etc etc in one location is a nicety. I pack up my things neatly and go and I'm not carrying nasty, dripping with sweat, Gis in my hands or laying it on my nice clean car seats on the ride home.Check out all available gym bags on Hypnotik
UnderOath BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu apparel brand based out of Ontario, Canada. I saw an advert for one of their eye catching shirts and immediately contacted them trying to find out all of the details about them and their company. They clearly had some great designs but I wanted to find out more, so I sent some questions over to the owner Ryan to get the scoop and UnderOath sent us two shirts to check out. Questions and Answers after the jump.
First, these awesome shirts. This isn't your average t-shirt from cafepress that was thrown together with a crappy stock graphic and cheap level fruit of the loom t-shirt, it's well thought out. My favorite aspect of the shirts is actually the material, it's super soft but strong. I don't have a single shirt that feels like it.Shop for your favorite BJJ tshirts at Hypnotik
